What is TRAX?
Trax is a captivating game for two players aged 8 - adult.
Is it the new Tantrix?
No, it’s not - it’s the original TRAX! Like Tantrix, it was invented in New Zealand (not by the same person) and the 64 tiles (all identical and double-sided) are made of the same beautiful, tactile bakelite with painted lines and curves; but the tiles, rules and aim of the game are different.
What are the main differences?
There is no element of chance in TRAX and there are no solitaire puzzles - TRAX is a game of pure skill for two players.
Is TRAX good?
Yes, TRAX is VERY good - easy to learn, quick to play and highly addictive. Those who enjoy the Tantrix game will love TRAX too and the contrast in styles makes them ideal games for different moods.
Trax was invented by David Smith, Christchurch, New Zealand.
